- Course DescriptionIn this course, students will gain a thorough understanding of sensor technologies essential for self-driving cars, including GNSS, INS, LiDAR, and cameras. They will develop skills in object detection, visual odometry, and video action understanding, crucial for navigating dynamic driving environments. The course will explore driving scenario standards like penScenario/OpenDrive and the impact of large language models on road scene interpretation. Students will learn about vehicle control systems, with a focus on NVIDIA Driveworks and CAN communication, and conclude with insights into driving scene simulation and reinforcement learning platforms like Esmini and Gymnasium.
